Roma Plastalina Clay Model
The goal of this project was to create an ergonomic shape, so I started with a sphere and gradually carved it away to achieve this bone-like form.

FROM CLAY TO WOOD
After slicing the clay model into 1/4” slices, it is then traced onto a 1/4” thick wood slab, cut out, and glued together.
Made out of maplewood, this ergonomic monolith has various ways to be held. As it was assembled, the wood was laid to have alternating grain, giving it its stripes. It was sanded and polished into this final form.
