WHO AM I??

I’m Cedes! I am an industrial design student at University of Cincinnati. Born and raised here, I'm pursuing my studies at the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, graduating with the Class of 2028.

I learned to love design through a role model I had throughout high school, my design teacher, Alison Probst. With her, I learned a lot of fundamentals of design from freshman to senior year. It was because of her, and her dedication to teaching us these skills, that my passion for design grew and I decided that this is what I want to do with my life.

I have a broad interest in various aspects of design, but my greatest passion lies in experiential design. I've always been fascinated by interactive exhibits in museums, which have deeply influenced my interests. I hope to visit places like Otherworld in Columbus, Ohio, Omega Mart in Las Vegas, Nevada, and a handful of others. I also have a strong appreciation for the decorative elements in theme parks, particularly in Kings Island's Area 72, as well as the seasonal decorations for Haunt and Winterfest.

Besides design, I have always appreciated other forms of art. I enjoy the fine arts, makeup, fashion, reading, watching videos, and though I can’t sing or dance, I constantly find myself surrounded by music.
